Designed for a charity that supports children and adults with difficulty socialising – NOCS: New Opportunities for Community and Support.

The charity is run by the owner of the local gaming shop, who runs board and tabletop gaming events, so the brief was to reference this in the logo. 

They chose option 5, however they no longer use this logo as I believe they have moved away from the gaming niche.
