Creating a Children’s Chore Chart

A client wanted a customised chore chart for her young son, to help him learn responsibilities. We picked a dinosaur theme, and 18 different tasks, some for him to start right now, and others he will grow into.

I made some counters from eggs, bones and paw prints so that he can check off when each task is done, and on what day.

This is the example she sent over
Some elements we used downloaded from Envato
The chart, designed in Adobe Illustrator
The various magnets ready to be printed onto the magnetic paper and cut by the Cricut
All made up and ready to be shipped! (just needs a final trim on the right with a guillotine – my printer can be quite temperamental about borderless printing)
In use at the client’s house
